In these uncertain times, we understand that you may have concerns on whether you can still buy or sell a home.

While Coronavirus (Covid-19) has altered the way real estate business is being conducted, we are pleased to inform you that you can still move forward with your plans of buying or selling a property.

Like interest rates, mortgage terms and programs can change like the wind. Even if you have already been pre-qualified, the bank you are working with may have recently changed their requirements. We can contact your mortgage lender to determine if recent financing guidelines will impact your eligibility.

Social Distance

Under normal circumstances, it can be fun to bring relatives and/or friends along to view homes. Since we are in a unique phase of social interaction, it is best that we respect the recommended social distancing standards of no more than 5 people (including your Realtor) and when possible, at least 6 feet apart.

Non-Essential Services

Good news! Real estate is deemed an essential service. The bad news is, some vendors are not included in this category. Plus, some essential service providers have opted not to do business for an extended period of time. This has created a delay and difficulty in getting inspections as well as other contractors to accommodate deadlines. Below you will learn more about how this can effect a transaction.

Contract Terms

Flexibility is one thing buyers and sellers will need as we navigate through social distancing, non-essential services unavailable and longer than average contingency deadlines. It is critical to understand that regardless of the circumstances surrounding Covid-19, buyers and sellers are still obligated to meet their contract terms.
